About Me

I love the sun. (…not necessarily the heat from the sun…I’m from Iowa…buuuut I love seeing the sun.) It lifts my mood, gives me hope and, somehow, brings a warmth to my soul. This is exactly what I hope my blog does for you.

I equate the sun with finding the light through the dark times…seeing the good in the bad….recognizing that every sunrise is a new chance to live.

I have been through quite a few hard times in my years on earth. I think what has helped me the most is recognizing that there can always be good that comes from the difficult times. The dark times are what refine us and make us into the people we are meant to be…and the “sunny days” are the ones we get to embrace and just simply enjoy living. My hope is to give you a glimpse of both on this journey of mine.
